Exploration Hall
Inside Exploration Hall you will find a huge fish tank filled with creatures native to Minnesota. You will also see a replica of a T-Rex skull and be able to study a variety of taxidermied animals as well as other natural items you can touch and explore.
Preschool Classes
Your youngest nature lovers will enjoy taking a class where they can get up close and personal with animals and the world outside. Past topics have included spiders, dinosaurs, and leaves. Register ahead on the website or by calling the center.
Nature Education
Adults love to learn about nature as well, and the nature center offers educational opportunities for all ages. Learn about animal migration, using herbs in natural healing, or another of many engaging topics.
Bird Banding
Watch as naturalists capture, band, and release birds to be tracked and studied. Learn all about birds in the Bird Study Room or go on a bird-watching walk with a group.
Crafts
Learn to make crafts out of items found in nature. Past craft classes have included making soaps and wreaths. Create something beautiful that you can give as a gift to a loved one or display proudly in your home or yard.
Guided Hikes
