The 2025 CX-30 is a subcompact crossover available in eight trim levels, three of which come with a turbocharged engine designed to make your daily drives more engaging. It maintains the previous year’s beloved features and builds on them with tech upgrades, such as a new infotainment system with available Alexa integration for easier voice commands.
You can also use the multi-function commander knob to access the various infotainment apps and vehicle functions. This powertrain generates 186 lb-ft of torque and pairs with a range of performance features, including off-road traction assistance, dynamic stability control, and g-vectoring control for improved traction and handling in various driving situations.
For enhanced handling, the transmission includes a Sport drive mode and can be switched to manual shifting. For a more spirited driving experience, you can opt for one of the turbocharged models, which are powered by a SKYACTIV-G 2.5L 4-cylinder turbo engine that generates up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with a harmonic enhancer, this engine is not only powerful, but it also produces a powerful, head-turning sound.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
This compact five-seater has a versatile interior design with a 60/40 split-folding rear bench. With a capacity of 20.2 cubic feet, the main cargo area offers plenty of space for most items. An integrated cargo area light makes it easy to organize your stuff or find items after dusk. Folding both sides of the rear backrest expands the cargo space to 45.2 cubic feet.
In-cabin storage is plentiful and includes door pockets with bottle holders at the front and a map pocket on the front passenger’s seatback. A standard remote keyless entry system with entry illumination adds convenience, and for enhanced safety, speed-sensitive automatic power door locks are standard across the lineup.
