Check Your Coolant
Continuous cooling is a must with any combustion engine. The very effective cooling system in your Mazda depends on the coolant, so check this vital fluid monthly and flush it every two or three years. If your coolant ever turns brown from contamination, you’ll need to flush it early.
Test Your Cooling System
The rest of the cooling system, which includes the radiator, thermostat, cooling fans, heater core, and hoses, must be pressure-tested at least once a year to make sure each component, seal, and connection is sturdy.
