The All-New 2019 Mazda 6

Interior
The interior of the Mazda 6 is almost completely new and even more premium. The front seats are an all-new design. They are wider and contain more padding for maximum comfort. Other new optional features are a reconfigurable instrument cluster, an infotainment touch screen, and a cool heads-up display that projects some information on the dashboard so that you don’t have to take your eyes off the road.
Exterior
Mazda has always been known in the automotive industry for vehicles with an incredibly stylish look. It has taken this to the next level with the 2019 Mazda 6. There is a new front grille and standard LED headlights on each side. There are also new 17- and 19-inch wheel designs and a new color, Sumptuous Soul Red Crystal, that looks as stunning as its name suggests.
Performance
The most significant changes in the new Mazda 6 have occurred in the area that matters most: improving an already solid driving experience. The engine is now available turbocharged, with the same 2.5-liter 4-turbo that’s used in the CX-9 crossover. If you use 87-octane fuel, you’re revving a 227-horsepower engine. If you choose to put in 93-octane fuel instead, you have an incredible 250 horses available at the touch of a pedal.
The engine isn’t the only way Mazda has improved the driving experience in the new Mazda 6. The steering rack is now mounted directly to the body, which leads to a better feel for the driver with fewer vibrations. Similarly, the suspension geometry has been tweaked to make for an even smoother ride, and the sound engineers have made improvements so that very little outside noise makes its way into the cab.
Like an all-world athlete who still gives her all at practice every single day so she can continue to dominate the competition or a world-class chef who continues to tinker with his signature recipe, Mazda refuses to let up. Most companies would have seen no way to improve upon the Mazda 6, already one of the most highly-regarded sedans in the world. But Mazda continues to innovate — and as a result, it continues to offer one of the most impressive pieces of machinery to ever leave an assembly line.
