Trim Levels of the 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV: Eco-Friendly Luxury
1. Preferred
The Preferred comes well-equipped with premium features like 19-inch Silver Metallic aluminum alloy wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, roof rails, and a power sunroof. Its 2.5-liter engine combines with a 68 kW electric motor to create up to 323 total horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque, which is delivered to the wheels with a rear-biased i-ACTIV AWD system. This model seats eight passengers with leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, and a three-zone automatic climate control system.
The Preferred’s tech features begin with a 10.25-inch full-color Mazda Connect infotainment system display, which connects to an eight-speaker audio system and features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. A three-year complimentary subscription to Mazda Connected Services enables your smartphone to remotely start the engine, locate your CX-90 PHEV, or start or stop charging. This model also comes with a long list of advanced safety features, like Blind Spot Monitoring to warn you when a hard-to-see vehicle is nearby.
2. Premium
The seven-passenger Premium trim comes with exciting upgrades like 21-inch machine-cut aluminum alloy wheels, a power panoramic moonroof, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. The driver’s seat features a two-position memory system, so you can quickly return the seat to your preferred position by pressing a button. The Premium’s hands-free power liftgate opens when you place your foot under the rear bumper.
This trim’s infotainment system includes a Mazda Navigation System with Off-Road Navigation, plus a wireless phone charger and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Premium also comes with additional driver assistance features, like an Active Driving Display, which displays relevant driving information on the windshield.
3. Premium Plus
The Premium Plus offers drivers the ultimate in luxury and technology, with Nappa leather-trimmed seats, heated second-row seats, and ventilated front seats. Its infotainment display is a larger 12.3-inch size with touchscreen functionality, and it displays the 360° Monitor, which uses several cameras to produce a virtual bird’s-eye view of your surroundings to make parking easier. The Premium Plus also includes more advanced safety features, like Front Cross Traffic Alert to detect vehicles approaching from the sides.
