2019 Mazda6 in Rochester, MN | Car Dealership in Rochester, MN

Reasons You'll Love the 2019 Mazda6 in Rochester, MN

There are so many reasons to love the 2019 Mazda6. It's better than it's ever been this year, with higher power levels and more features to go around. Here are a handful of features on the new Mazda6 we think you'll love. Power above all Turbocharged, nimble, and ready to go — the 2019 Mazda6 has received a much-needed muscle upgrade. The Mazda6's top engine this year is an impressive 250-horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged Skyactiv engine. It produces 310 pound-feet of torque and is designed to be more responsive and agile than the model has ever been. Even with its weakest engine, the Mazda6 still gets 187 horsepower. Driver-assist tech The 2019 Mazda6 comes standard with many driver-assist technologies that other models make you pay extra for. These technologies are included in Mazda's i-Activsense safety suite and include features such as automatic emergency braking, a lane-keep assist system, and rear cross-traffic alert. These technologies help drivers become more in tune with what's happening on the road around them. More awareness means more safety. Superior comfort The new Mazda6's cabin is designed with the driver's comfort in mind. The relaxing seats are covered in quality upholstery — either cloth or with leatherette trimming. The Touring trim has a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat and a manually adjustable lumbar support. The dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats keep you comfortable even in the harshest weather. The seats are designed to encourage proper posture that keeps you feeling fresh when you reach your destination. No-nonsense style Many of the new sedans you see are stylized like they're trying to be something they're not. One of the reasons we're such big fans of the new Mazda6 is its elegant exterior design. It looks like what it is: a thoughtfully designed, capable sedan. The curves and grooves along its body are there to accentuate rather than distract, like other sedans'. Inside, you'll find one of seven interior color schemes that continue the Mazda experience. Technology of tomorrow The tech that comes with every Mazda6 makes this sedan ahead of its time. From the phone-friendly infotainment display to the birds-eye-view 360-degree camera that helps you navigate tight spots, you'll be more in tune with your drive and the world outside than ever. The dashboard's touch screen is phone-friendly, so you can use many of your favorite apps and stay in touch with friends directly through your Mazda6. The list of amazing things you can do with this sedan's tech is too much to list here. Great trim levels If you don't want all the extras in your ride, you don't have to have them. And if you want it all, there's a trim level for that. The 2019 Mazda6's five trim levels let you pick-and-choose what you want out of a sedan. But even if you go with the entry-level trim, you'll still get a supremely equipped ride. Ready to get behind the wheel of a 2019 Mazda6? Come see us at Rochester Mazda in Rochester, Minnesota to test drive your very own Mazda6 today.

Upgrades for the Miata MX-5

The Mazda Miata MX-5 is a sporty roadster that is just fun to drive. The 2019 model arrived with some significant updates that make a big difference in its driving ability. There is an upgraded engine, some extra safety equipment, changes to the steering wheel, and a new package for the Grand Touring model. Here are some details about the upgrades Mazda made to the Miata MX-5 for the 2019 model year. The Power The MX-5 gets more power for 2019. It has the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, but Mazda tweaked the internal parts, so it now has a 7,500-rpm redline which is 700 rpm higher than before. It now makes 181 horsepower and delivers 151 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can now choose between the six-speed manual transmission that Mazda revised, or get the optional six-speed automatic. The new manual transmission shifts quickly through the gears, and will get the Miata up to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds. The extra power didn't hurt fuel economy, it actually squeezed some extra miles out of the powertrain. You can expect to get about 26 mpg in city driving conditions and 34 mpg on the highway with the manual. The GT-S Package Mazda added the option for a new GT-S package for the Grand Touring model. This comes with Bilstein shocks and adds a strut tower brace upfront. It also gets you a sport-tuned suspension and adds a limited-slip differential. All these features were only available on the Club trim in previous Miata models. The Updated Safety Systems Mazda made more safety features standard for 2019 and added some extra safety systems. A rearview camera is now a standard feature on all models, and the Grand Touring trims now offers the option for forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. Additional safety upgrades include the option to add the i-Activesence package to the Sport and Club trims. This will get you lane departure warning, and forward-collision warning with low-speed braking. Adding this package to the Sport will also get you blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. For 2019, you can also get Mazda's Smart City Brake Support system, and traffic sign recognition is also a newly available option. Cabin Upgrades There is a new tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel that helps the driver find a more comfortable position, and this update also helps taller drivers. They can now keep the seat pushed back and still comfortably reach the steering wheel. Other than the updated steering, the interior of the Miata stays the same. For the 2019 model year, you can add Recaro sport seats if you bump up to the Club trim level as part of the BBS/Brembo/Recaro package. This upgrade was only available with the soft top, but you can now get it on the RF Club too. These are some of the more significant changes to the 2019 Mazda Miata MX-5. With more power, some optional packages, and safety upgrades, there is a lot to love about this little Sportster.

Mazda CX-30 in Rochester, MN | Car Dealership

Get Excited for the Mazda CX-30

There is a new Mazda crossover SUV on the horizon, and it fits in the small slot between the CX-3 and the CX-5. The all-new Mazda CX-30 has a bold look and the same platform as the recently updated Mazda3. It is slightly shorter than the Mazda3 in order to fit in its new slot, but it has many of the same tech and comfort features and equipment. It's time to get excited for the new Mazda CX-30. The Exterior Look According to Mazda execs, the exterior design of the CX-30 is both sleek and bold. It will have the signature wide grille up front, and large front windows. The rear windows have a more forward-canted design, and there is thick plastic cladding on the wheel arches and the lower part of the body. The Power Mazda has not confirmed what the CX-30 will have under the hood, but experts speculate that it will have the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder found in the Mazda 3. If this is the case, it should get 186 horsepower and come with a six-speed automatic transmission. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive will be available options. Most likely the CX-30 will eventually offer the option for the Skyactive-X 2.0-liter four-cylinder. The Interior Inside, the CX-5 is very similar to the Mazda 3 with a sporty seat design, and cockpit-like feel for the driver. In the back, there are 15-cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats which is more that you'll find in the Mazda 3 but less than the CX-5. This new Mazda will have extra sound-reducing material in the carpeting, the headliner, and in the floor mats to help reduce interior noise. The technology will start with an 8.8-inch touch screen, and it will have a rotary controller in the console between the two front seats. It will also offer the option for a 12-speaker Bose stereo system. The Safety Features The CX-30 will offer the option for Mazda's I-Activesense suite that includes several advanced safety systems. Adding this group will get you adaptive cruise control, auto high beams, automatic forward emergency braking, lane departure warning, and Mazda's pedestrian detection system. This new crossover will also offer the option for blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and other driver aid including parking sensors. A new driver aid you can expect to see in the CX-30 is the Driver Monitoring system. This watches the driver's face and eyes and can detect when they start to feel tired or stop paying attention to the road. If your eyes are on your phone and not on the road, it will sound an alarm to alert you, so you remember to put your phone down. This system will also send you the forward collision alert sooner than the previous system to give you more time to react. There is a lot to get excited about with this new Mazda. Its sleek exterior look combined with its comfortable and modern cabin make it the perfect choice for small SUV drivers. Mazda has not confirmed when it will hit dealerships in the U.S.
