2024 is gearing up to be an exciting year for vehicle enthusiasts, and one of the main reasons why is the newest Mazda powerhouse, the Mazda CX-90. Drivers everywhere will be sure to love what is best described as a luxury ride with a bargain price tag.

Basics of the Mazda CX-90

What’s Under the Hood?

The newest Mazda doesn’t just look sleek and well-built, it has the specs to back up its claims. The CX-90 offers 280 horsepower with 332 pound-per-feet of torque. The reason for its immense power lies in its e-SKYACTIV®-C 3.3-liter Turbo Iine 6 engine as well as its rear-biased i-ACTIV all-wheel drivetrain and its 8-speed manual-shift automatic transmission. In addition to the power this SUV generates, it can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

What Does the Interior Look Like?

This roomy ride can fit up to 8 passengers. This makes it a top choice for family road trips, and the comforts of the interior were manufactured with this in mind. The driver’s seat and front passenger seat are 8-way and 4-way adjustable respectively, the second and third rows of seats are benches that can be split 60/40 and folded down for extra interior room, and all seats are trimmed with leatherette.

There’s Always Room To Spare

Mazda wants drivers and their passengers to feel comfortable even on long trips with a full cabin, and that’s why they’ve implemented several clever storage locations throughout the interior. In addition to the glove compartment, the overhead console, and the center console, each door has large storage bins. The backsides of the driver’s and front passenger’s seats have storage pockets as well, and there’s even under-floor storage in the cargo area.

New 2024 Mazda Features

The CX-90 has a plethora of new features that will make your ride much safer for you and your passengers. The Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane-Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning System, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert will make it easy for you to maintain awareness of all 360 degrees surrounding your vehicle. Towing is easy thanks to the Traction Control System fitted with an additional Trailer Stability Assist.

The CX-90 boasts Mazda’s own Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go that allows your CX-90 to sense and respond to the traffic ahead of you. Your Rear-View Monitor has guiding lines to help make tricky parking spaces hassle-free, and the SUV can even monitor your driving and warn you if it senses you’re tired or in need of a break.
