4 Benefits of Getting Car Financing Through Your Rochester Mazda Dealer

Are you thinking about purchasing a new vehicle? You might be considering getting car financing. Financing can offer you plenty of benefits. Here are just a handful that you can expect when you get financing from your Mazda dealer. more 4 Benefits of Getting Car Financing Through Your Rochester Mazda Dealer 1. Get a Better Car One of the biggest reasons to get financing for your new vehicle is so that you can afford a better car. You might have enough saved up to cover the entire purchase of a vehicle, but it might not be a vehicle of the quality you'd like. When you get financing, you won't need to pay for the entire cost of the car right away. Instead, you'll just need to make a down payment and then gradually pay off the rest. Of course, that means that you'll be able to get a slightly more expensive car. 2. Build Your Credit Score Do you know what your credit score is? Your credit score is an important indicator of your overall financial stability and health. If you have a high credit score, you'll have a lot more financial options like loans available to you. But if your credit score is low, you'll find it much more difficult. So how do you build it back up? One of the best ways to build your credit score is to get a loan and pay it off on time. When you get financing and pay your monthly payments on time, your credit score will grow. 3. Grow Your Savings Having a healthy savings account is an important thing. Your savings are what you can dip into if you need to make a big purchase or if you run into a costly emergency. You might have enough money in your savings to pay for the entirety of your vehicle—or at least most of it. But this might not be the best idea. When you get financing, you won't need to take such a huge portion out of your savings. You'll be able to keep growing your savings and keep them for other important purchases. 4. Flexibility with Used Cars Financing a brand-new car can be a really great way to get a new vehicle in a way that's much more available. But you can also finance used vehicles which can provide you with a little more flexibility when it comes to your down payment. While you should aim to put down as large a down payment as possible when you finance a used vehicle you might be able to put down a smaller amount. While it means that your monthly payments might be higher, being able to put down a lower down payment can be beneficial for a lot of shoppers. Getting a new car is an exciting process, but it can also be an expensive one. Vehicle financing can do a lot to help you during your shopping experience. Are you ready to find your next car? Come see us today at Rochester Mazda.

Oil Change

How Often Should You Get a Mazda Oil Change?

The best thing you can do for your Mazda is regular oil changes. A Mazda oil change will ensure that your engine is clean, protected, and running smoothly. The frequency of oil changes depends on various factors, from the factory-recommended oil changes and driving conditions to the quality of the oil. With regular oil changes from a certified Mazda technician, your vehicle will be fuel-efficient and perform optimally. How Often Should You Get a Mazda Oil Change? more Oil and Your Mazda Engine The oil in your Mazda ensures that the moving parts are well-lubricated, reduces friction that causes wear and overheating. The oil also keeps your engine clean, protected and running smoothly. Over time the oil starts to deteriorate, becomes contaminated with dirt and debris, and loses its protective properties. The reduced lubrication results in friction, wear, and higher fuel consumption. Routine Oil Changes Routine oil and filter changes from a qualified Mazda technician will improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency, engine performance and ensure that your vehicle lasts longer. The Mazda recommended an oil change every 3,000 to 7,500 miles or every six months. Please consult your owner's manual for the recommended oil changes for your specific year and model, or speak to your Mazda technician for more information. Factors that Influence Oil Changes The frequency of oil changes varies depending on the engine type, oil quality, driving style, and the conditions under which the vehicle is driven. Older vehicles will also require oil changes more often than newer models. Normal and Severe Driving Conditions Mazda has different oil change recommendations for vehicles that are driven under normal and severe driving conditions. Your Mazda will require more frequent oil changes if you drive under severe conditions. Severe conditions include repeated short trips, extended periods of idling, extensive brake use, rough, muddy, dusty, and mountainous roads, and extreme hot or cold temperatures. Your Mazda technician will assist you with the correct oil change intervals for your driving style and conditions. Engine Oil Not only are regular oil changes important, but the quality, grade, and viscosity of the oil used also play a part in engine performance. Genuine Mazda Premium Oil is meticulously engineered to factory standards for your Mazda engine to maintain the right viscosity and weight. Genuine Mazda Premium Oil will provide protection, fuel economy, and peak engine performance. Your owner's manual has information on the type of oil, conventional, synthetic, or blend best for your specific engine. Your Mazda technician will also assist you with the correct choice of engine oil. Filters Every time your Mazda technician changes the oil, the oil filter will also be replaced. The filter will capture harmful metal fragments, dirt, and debris and prevent the contaminants from reaching your engine, keeping the engine clean, lubricated, and protected for longer. Our certified Mazda technicians are here to assist you with oil changes and the correct type of oil to ensure that your Mazda continues to perform optimally. Visit Rochester Mazda today for expert oil and filter replacements to ensure that your engine is well lubricated, protected, and performing optimally.

Do You Need an Alternator Repair? 3 Reasons Not to Wait

Cars are complex machines with many components, and it's not uncommon for those components to break down over time. The alternator is one of the most important parts of all, working together with the battery to keep many of the car's systems up and running. When the alternator begins to break down, it's vital to get the alternator repair you need right away from your Rochester, MN Mazda dealer. more 1. Safety Issues The first and most obvious reason to get a rapid repair for your alternator is for the safety of yourself and your passengers. When the alternator starts to fail, the symptoms might not seem too bad at first. You might simply notice a warning light on the dashboard or hear a new sound coming from under the hood, but if you delay the repairs you need, those issues may become much worse. When alternators really start to break down, the symptoms can be very severe. You might experience random stalls while driving, for example, or you could notice that the headlights begin to flicker and fail while driving at night, which can be very dangerous. 2. Saving Money Some people put off car repairs because they worry about the cost. It's never nice to have to pay for repairs to your vehicle, but the truth is that you can actually save a lot of cash by getting the repairs you need early on, rather than delaying the process for as long as possible. Alternator issues won't go away on their own. They'll need to get fixed eventually, and if you wait too long, the issues might become more serious, leading to more expensive repairs and higher bills for you to pay. If you get the issue fixed early on, the repair will usually be much simpler and cheaper. 3. Saving Time Not only can you save a lot of cash by getting your alternator fixed as soon as possible, but you can also save a lot of time as well. When issues are diagnosed early on, the repair process tends to be much faster. If you wait a while, more parts might need to be replaced or repaired, leading to longer jobs and more time that you have to cope without your car. It can be really inconvenient to have to get by without the use of your vehicle or wait around for a long time while it gets repaired, especially if you have a busy schedule and rely on your car to get to work each day. Fast repairs will help you get back on the road with minimal inconvenience. Delaying any kind of auto repair is never a good idea, as auto issues only tend to get worse with time, and the longer you wait, the more time and money you might have to lose when you finally get the car fixed. If you notice any alternator issues, get repairs right away to avoid any needless hassle. Call Rochester Mazda today to book all essential auto repairs and services.

Your Guide to the 2021 Mazda CX-30

With the rise of compact, subcompact, and crossover SUVs in recent years, it's not surprising to see a lot of fierce competition. Coming out of the gate incredibly strong, 2019's CX-30 from Mazda won awards right off the bat and has only enjoyed further success in 2020, winning more awards with the 2020 iteration of the line. Is this the start of an iconic line? How will the difficult third album, the 2021 Mazda CX-30, fare? more The 2021 iteration of the CX-30 from Mazda is an incredible affair. It's comfortable, easy to drive, and offers a genuinely impressive amount of luxury at a remarkably low price point. It's hard to see how competitors in the subcompact SUV class could do better, given the top-of-the-line interior offered by the CX-30. The CX-30 is competing in terms of luxury with much more expensive premium options in the class, such as the offerings from BMW and Audi. The ride is comfortable and easy, the suspension has clearly been tuned with this in mind. The CX-30 has just enough clearance to let you know you're driving an SUV, but it keeps you low to the ground and doesn't allow for the leaning and bobbing that typically comes with SUVs, even subcompact SUVs at times. The CX-30 is playful and nimble, and it feels like you're driving a much smaller and lighter car, yet with lots of room in the cabin. Pricing This is where the CX-30 really shines. Mazda is offering the CX-30 at a variety of trim levels: from the “Base” and “Select” levels at $23225 and $25000 respectively to the “Preferred” and “Premium” levels offered at $27400 and $29650, the “Turbo” and “Turbo Premium” levels currently running at $31000 and $33400, and finally the top of the line level, “Turbo Premium Plus”, which is available at $35000. That's over a $10k spread, which is fantastic for all budgets. The Interior The interior of the CX-30 looks very similar to the Mazda3. It has a fantastic speaker system, and you can upgrade the already convenient and spacious cabin to even further heights, offering up heated front seats, leather seating all around, and hands-free options like a power-operated liftgate. The CX-30 can also connect to both iOS and Android devices via the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, and has a great touchscreen display upfront. It also allows for Bluetooth connectivity and has a nifty little app that allows for both unlocking and locking remotely. You can monitor the vehicle through it, too. The CX-30 offers up two USB inputs for you to use, and can even be used as a WiFi hotspot if needs be. Overall, the 2021 CX-30 from Mazda is more than a competent car. It would be a good offering at any price point, but the fact that you can pick this car up on a budget only adds value. It's luxurious, competent, and powerful - a serious contender in its class. The 2020 Mazda3: Should You Get the Sedan or the Hatchback?

Hatchback or sedan? Some people are diehard devotees to one or the other and won't be moved from their position, but for the rest of us, it's worth taking time to note the differences in the new Mazda3 sedan and hatchback options. One might just be a better fit for you than the other. more Sedan or Hatchback? Looks and Performance In the US, sedans blend in while hatchbacks tend to stand out. Either one could be right for you, depending on what you want in a car. Maybe you prefer to stand out a bit, but maybe you'd rather go with a tried-and-true, classic look. Either way, Mazda has you covered in this model. The only real difference you'll notice in driving is that the hatchback has a bit larger blindspot. Some people will have a problem with that while others won't care at all (but see "pricing and performance" below, because the hatchback base model comes with blindspot monitoring you don't get on the base model of the sedan.) Storage Mazda's hatchback version of this car gives you more space--almost seven cubic feet more of it. At the same time, a sedan allows you to actually put everything away in the trunk, out of sight a bit more readily than with a hatchback. Why might this matter? Well, if you're hauling the kids and all their junk, a hatchback gives you more space and easier access to what's behind that second row of seats. If you're normally using your car to transport shopping or essential work items you'd rather not have out for everyone to see when parked for extended periods, the sedan could be the best choice. Pricing and Performance The hatchback comes with a manual transmission option that you don't get with the sedan, but if you want all-wheel-drive, you have to go with the automatic transmission no matter which style you choose. The sedan is offered in a base and Select trim that the hatchback is not. The entry-level hatchback-style starts at a higher trim level and comes with certain features standard, like keyless entry. Those features are great, but remember that also means you can get the basic sedan version for about $2,100 cheaper. Why the Mazda3? Whichever style you choose, you're getting a great vehicle in this Mazda. It offers great performance and value. It's fun to drive, gets excellent mileage, and has a sports car-esque handling that drivers love. Even the standard trims come with some special features you wouldn't expect on cars in this class, and there are plenty of goodies to add on, like zoned climate control, bigger wheels, a rear-seat armrest, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more. Plus, this Mazda simply looks good. The styling is remarkable and not at all what you'd expect for the price. Most manufacturers putting that much thought into making you a great-looking car want you to pay from $5,000 to $10,000 more for the privilege. If you can't decide whether the Mazda sedan or hatchback versions are right for you, come down to Rochester Mazda and test drive them both!
